Shiro: four seasons

Welcome to “Shiro” the Empty Space.

From a world of pure white, we conjure a sword dance that traverses the four seasons, with exquisite animation and based on traditional haiku.

In the season when dragons rise to the sky, spring begins. Summer arrives with the scent of rain strong, and the sun shines bright. Autumn approaches with a clear sky, and the red leaves start to fall. Winter comes with a landscape of white, a world of silence.

Award-winning dancer, yoikami, invites you to clear away the noise from your mind and allow yourself to be captivated by the beauty of Japan and the art of nature.

The performance is followed by a visit to a traditional Japanese shrine by VR Japan Tours.

純白の世界から生まれる壮麗な剣舞。伝統的な俳句を基に、四季を駆け巡るダンスと圧巻のアニメーションが融合した本作。

「龍が天に昇る春の訪れ。やってくるは夏、雨の香りが強く、日差しが燦々と照りつける。続いて秋、澄み渡る空に散りゆく紅葉。そして冬、一面の白が広がる静寂の世界。」

国際映画祭での受賞歴を誇り、日本のVRパフォーマンスシーンを牽引するYoikamiが、あなたの心の雑音を払いのけ、日本の美と自然の芸術に魅了される世界へと誘います。

さらに、VR Japan Toursが本作のホストを務め、伝統的な日本の神社参拝体験と英語による作品のガイドが、この作品に一層の華を添えます。

You will need a VR ready PC and a compatible headset such as Valve Index, Quest 3 + Link / Quest 2 + Link, Rift/Rift S, Vive/Vive Pro/Vive Pro 2 or Bigscreen Beyond. Download VRChat and create an account ahead of time.
