A dead couple look for a temporary solution to their permanent condition. Visitors is a twenty minute immersive audio experience for two people in the same physical space together, each with the Darkfield app on the phone. A reflection on our irrepressible desire to touch and why the dead find so little comfort in the world of the living. Created by Darkfield who create new, innovative work at the forefront of technology and theatre, utilising binaural sound and sensory effects.

HOW TO ACCESS

VISITORS is a 20-min immersive audio experience for two people to experience together, sat in their living room - you may be asked to move. Please book your tickets via www.darkfield.org/visitors-uk. You will receive two tickets per purchase, one for you and one for a friend/partner. When buying online all shows on the page are scheduled for UK time - so if you are not in the UK please factor in the time difference. USA, Australian and NZ tickets can be bought on their respective pages. Shows run on 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 20th and 21st November.

Once you have purchased your tickets, you will receive an email with a code and a link to the DARKFIELD RADIO app. Each access code is valid for one session and one device only. Please make sure everyone has downloaded the app and entered their individual code 24 hours before the show time.

Just before your show time, close all other apps and put your phone on do not disturb - do not turn off wifi/4G as you will need this for the show to work. Open the app and plug in your headphones. The show will start exactly at the specified time.

Darkfield creates new, innovative work at the forefront of technology and theatre, utilising binaural sound and sensory effects. Previous acclaimed location based experiences in shipping containers Seance, Flight and Coma have toured the world. DARKFIELD RADIO is a new digital project, of which previous show DOUBLE has reached thousands of people worldwide. Darkfield has so far welcomed 170,000+ audience members globally.
